I’m here to help you create a new, nourishing relationship with food. Eating is a part of so many aspects of our lives, and it doesn’t have to be a source of stress, guilt, shame, or fear. My goal is for you to feel empowered to know when, how, and what to eat, and to trust yourself in choosing what’s best for you. This takes time, of course, but I am here to walk the path with you. Whether you are looking to address disordered eating, reexamine diet culture, or adjust your intake due to medical need, I can help.
We’ll build on previous sessions and create accountability, support and a safe space for questions and concerns. These often include education, celebration, and processing. If indicated, sessions may also incorporate meal support, grocery shopping, or cooking.
A dedicated session for us to get to know each other and allow me to gather all important information. We will review your history, current health status, and goals. Together, we’ll summarize big picture goals and identify some steps you can begin to take today. We’ll also make a plan for ongoing frequency and support. For all new clients.
Working as a professional in the overlap between medical and behavioral fields requires a lot of you. You’re staying on top of research and best practices while also trying to navigate the big feelings and interpersonal dynamics that are part of everyday work. Supervision is your space to process what comes up and get support. Whether you’re new to eating disorder work or a seasoned clinician, I am here to consult on cases, talk business, and help you take care of yourself while taking care of others. I am also an approved iaedp CEDS Consultant and will help you work towards that certification if it’s something you want to pursue.
Curious about what it’s like to work with a dietitian? Want to know more about me and make sure we’re a good fit? Let’s talk and get your questions answered.
As of January 1, 2022, all healthcare providers are required to provide estimates for the costs of your care. You are entitled to receive a copy of your Good Faith Estimate (GFE) when you schedule an appointment, and/or upon request. The GFE shows the cost of items and services that are reasonably expected for your healthcare needs and treatment. This protects you from balance billing and other unexpected charges. You can read more about this here.
